Field of activities

The City Development and Culture Department regroups the activities of the Museums Sector, Libraries Sector, City and Culture Sector, Promotion of the  City and City Branding Sector. Therefore, the culture activities are the main field of its intervention.

Priorities for international cooperation

At international level, the Department considers the strenghtening of cooperation with the countries of the Mediterranean Sea and Central-Northern Europe as very important, through the
development and participation in projects financed with EU funds.

Participation in international networks

The Municipality of Genoa, through the City Development and Culture Department, participates in many international Networks, such as EUROCITIES, ENCATC and Luden.
